Personlige favoritter
I won’t hide the fact that I love lightweight running shoes.
Therefore, it should come as no surprise that competition running shoe Adidas Adizero Tempo are among my favorite running shoes.
What I especially love about the Adizero Tempo is the light weight, but also the extremely good take-off. The take-off is firm and robust. It feels like I get much more out of my take-off compared to running in other Adidas running shoes.
A slightly heavier running shoe that I have had good experiences with is Adidas Energy Boost, which was the first Adidas running shoe with Boost technology.
The Boost technology, which is also found in many of Adidas’ other running shoes, provides excellent bounce back when you run. This means that you get a lot of the energy you release when landing back at the take-off. You can read more about Boost here.

My reviews and tests of Adidas shoes
I know Adidas inside and out.
I must admit that I am not a 100% Adidas fan, but I like their shoes combined with shoes from other brands.
There are advantages and disadvantages to the different brands, including the different models that you have the opportunity to try.
In my video I briefly talked about the brand as a whole. If you want to learn more about the specific models, click on them for in-depth analyses. I advocate sharing my experiences based on the specific models rather than evaluating brands overall.
However, in this section I review Adidas running shoes superficially and very generally.

Selection
Occasionally I’ve been disappointed when I’ve been in the mood for new running shoes from Adidas.
Their selection is not exhaustive, as you find at Asics and Nike (in my opinion).
The selection is reasonable, but for example they don’t have any top models for the pronated runner who runs on asphalt. There is one model.
Furthermore, their shoes are primarily forasphalt race and running on gravel. They have very few models for trail running which is worth talking about.
I’ve tested a few of the different trail running shoes, but I haven’t been impressed.

Durability
I personally think that Adidas running shoes hold up well. Not so long that I’m further impressed, but that’s certainly not a criticism of them either.
There is no doubt that the premium models last significantly longer than the cheapest models. I usually recommend runners to buy more expensive running shoes (measured in recommended prices), as it is worth it in every way. The shoes last significantly longer, and the comfort is generally much better.
Adidas sizes
If you are unsure about what size you should wear in Adidas running shoes, you can check my size guide for Adidas and other brands here. Based on testing many runners and an incredible number of running shoes, I have evaluated the sizes of Adidas shoes compared to other brands. So if you know your size in Mizuno, you can quickly convert and find what size you should have here.
Adidas US, UK, CM and EU sizes you will find at the link.
In general, I have found that the sizes are similar to what you find in the following brands: Asics, Nike, New Balance, Mizuno, Saucony and Brooks.

Fit
Overall, Adidas has a reputation for making relatively narrow running shoes.
If you have a slightly narrow foot, Adidas will be a really good choice.
Conversely, if you have a very wide foot, you need to be a little careful about which shoes you try on from them. It’s not that you can’t find a running shoe that fits – they just generally sit a little tight around the foot – for better or worse. The fit is good.
Price rent
You can always find cheap running shoes from Adidas. They have running shoes in all price ranges. Whether you are a poor student or a rich homeowner, I am convinced that there will be a good pair of shoes for you.
Their top models are very reasonably priced. 1,400-1,600 kroner is very normal for premium running shoes. Their value for money segment is from 1,000-1,300 kroner and the cheap shoes from 600 and up to 900 kroner.
If you run a few times a week, I would recommend the value for money segment. If you run +30 km a week, I would definitely recommend the premium segment. It pays off in every way to buy good running shoes.
Advantages and disadvantages
Benefits
Great color combinations
Godt distributionsnetværk
Good after many kilometers
Disadvantages
Narrow selection
A little too pop at times
The sole is falling off.
Brands that remind
If you like Adidas running shoes, you will most likely also love Nike.
Where the two brands are particularly similar is in the look of the shoes. I’m personally a huge fan of Nike, while Adidas’ looks aren’t quite on the same level in my opinion, but that’s a matter of taste.
Asics andNew Balance has many series of running shoes, which you can also find at Adidas. For example, Adidas has a running shoe called Adidas Adizero Tempo. Asics has a shoe called Asics DS Racer, which in many ways resembles the Adidas running shoe. Both running shoes are lightweight running shoes for those who run fitness runs, competitive runs or tempo runs where you want a little extra speed in your feet.

Even the most expensive Adidas shoes on sale
Buy Adidas on sale
Adidas has a sea of running shoes & clothing collections on the market. It can be difficult to keep track of. I hope I have sharpened your considerations. If you are not picky about shoes, you can often find Adidas running shoes on sale, even in specialty stores that focus solely on running. Typically, you will find offers at the beginning of the new year and around August. This is because new shoe & clothing collections are released precisely during these periods. Therefore, the old collections are discounted. If you are looking forRunning shoes on sale, January and August are the months to go..
How to find Adidas sales
If you are panicking about getting the latest model, you can also save money right from the start when the new models are released. On the internet you will typically be able to find the biggest savings, as physical stores are bound by pricing policies from the top brand, which does not enable them to control prices themselves. It is no secret that you find Adidas running shoes cheapest online. The challenge arises if you do not know your running style or how the shoes fit you. The physical specialty running store can help you with that.
Personally, I always buy Adidas on sale online. I rarely pay full price.

Adidas men’s and Adidas women’s – different running shoes?
Adidas men’s running shoes

Adidas focuses a lot on their market for men’s running shoes, which is natural enough, since this is the largest. This means for you as a man a larger selection and by far also better prices. They guarantee good quality. This is clearly reflected in various tests of running shoes – for example Politiken’s article at this link. Adidas running shoes for men can be found in most Danish, German and English running stores.
Adidas women’s running shoes
If you are looking for women’s running shoes from Adidas, you have a good chance of finding a pair that suits you. The smartest thing is to click on one of the models on this page and find your favorite model. Alternatively, you can get an overview of the huge selection of running shoes at Adidas website. Besides, there is nothing special about women’s running shoes over men’s. Just jump right in. If you choose to train in Adidas, you can be sure to get sports shoes of the best quality. You should be aware that the running shoes tend to be a bit narrow.
Difference between women’s and men’s shoes from Adidas
If you are a man considering buying the women’s model, or vice versa, please be aware that the sizes may vary slightly. In most cases, you will find that a size 41 is the same for women and men, but the widths in particular may vary.

I don’t have personal experience with women’s models from Adidas, but I know several male runners who run in women’s models from Adidas and vice versa. Typically, women’s shoes are a little narrower. Especially in the heel. But it’s not something that is so strong that you have to buy the shoes extra wide (or narrow as a woman in men’s shoes).
