Inov8 F-Lite 230 crossfit shoes

Inov8 F Lite 230 is an all-round crossfit shoe and running shoe with a weight of only 230 grams. The shoe has a nice anatomical fit and can be used for a wide range of sports. However, the shoe is particularly known as a stable crossfit shoe, which you can use for WOD, lifting or running during training. This is something you can see more about in the video I have made. If you use rope climbing to a particular extent, you should get the Inov8 F Lite 240 instead of the 230 as it has better protection.

The Inov8 FLite 230 is a 230 gram lightweight crossfit shoe made from synthetic materials to keep weight to a minimum. Inov8’s goal is to be the lightest in any class they make shoes – and that’s also the case with their crossfit shoes. Overall, it’s a low profile shoe with a 6mm heel to toe drop. This is a size of drop that many recommend for, for example, Olympic running. At the same time, the shoe can be used to train your natural running style. On the running front, the shoe is primarily designed for running on harder surfaces.

The necessary specifications

Inov8 F-Lite 230 has a drop of 6mm starting from 9mm heel and ending at 3mm forefoot. A drop of 6mm is less than many other shoes, but it can be more extreme, for example Inov8 Bare XF 210 has a drop of 0mm. If you are going to use the shoes for something other than weightlifting, it is not necessarily best to have the lowest drop possible. The FLite 230 crossfit shoe is made as a unisex shoe and with the well-known F-Lite sole. It is a relatively hard shoe, but it can still be “bent” during exercises.

Overwhelmingly many color options

Inov8 F Lite 230 comes in a sea of color combinations. Probably among the running shoes that come in the most colors. However, it is typical that each store has chosen to focus on 1 (maybe 2) colors. It is difficult to stock so many different colors.

Difference between 195 and 230?

I am a primary supporter of the Inov8 F Lite 195 – this is primarily because when I train crossfit I want to perform all exercises as naturally as possible. If you like to have just a little heel on, then this is a really good choice. The Inov8 F Lite 230 is also a bit more for the beginner / the slightly experienced crossfitter / runner. If you have recently started crossfit, then this is the shoe I would recommend to you.

In addition to using the shoe for crossfit, you can also take it with you on your runs. I have had great experiences with that myself.
