What to expect from Saucony Freedom ISO 2

The Saucony Freedom Iso is probably a shoe that is a bit underrated. A neutral running shoe with a relatively low drop of only 4mm. All these fundamental aspects have not been touched (of course one is tempted to say) in the upgrade from the Saucony Freedom Iso to the Saucony Freedom ISO 2..
However, a very central aspect of the shoe has been touched upon, namely the upper. Saucony has chosen to focus on the fit and the good feel in their upgrade to the Freedom ISO 2.

The upper is made of an ISOKNIT upper. Which just raised the standard significantly. Those are big words, also considering that the Freedom ISO actually had a pretty fantastic upper before, but this new upgrade gives the shoe another nudge upwards towards the ultimate upper. Saucony is really good at focusing on these things when they make and build running shoes. And that’s also the reason why they take an upper that actually works really well, and then refine it.

Saucony Freedom ISO is a running shoe for the discerning runner. Because it is a high quality running shoe with lots of cool features. It is all supported very well by the fact that Saucony, in connection with some of their retailers, offers a satisfaction guarantee. You only do that if you know you have one or more products that can support this.

Saucony Freedom ISO, what was special about it?

Freedom ISO from Saucony has many advantages, and one disadvantage. And let’s not start with the single disadvantage. The price!! Many will probably proclaim that running shoes in general are too expensive. I do not agree with that in any way. But I still think that the Saucony Freedom ISO has the price a bit against it from the start. 1,600,- is the price tag, and that is a very high starting point..
But still, Saucony goes out to some retailers and gives them the guarantee that they can promise a satisfaction guarantee to their customers. That makes me a little more calm and relaxed about it. Because then they know that they are coming with a good product. Another alternative could of course be to buy it online, where you can definitely find it cheaper.

But the single disadvantage should not overshadow the many great advantages that you should notice about the Saucony Freedom ISO. There is something to take note of. If you haven’t already, you can also watch our video review at the top. There we will go into most of them, while also giving our unqualified opinion on its ability as a running shoe.

But when we talk about Saucony, we can’t help but mention their fantastic midsole. The name is Everum, and it can of course also be found in the Saucony Freedom. This fantastic and energetic material runs along the entire length of the foot, ensuring that you get a soft and comfortable run. And it actually doesn’t matter if it’s 5 kilometers or 42 kilometers you’re going out on.

That brings us to another thing I want to highlight. The Saucony Freedom’s ability to embrace so widely. It’s a running shoe that covers a lot of different distances. It’s actually usable on short and fast runs, even though the weight of 272 grams doesn’t exactly indicate that it’s a pace shoe. But its entire structure means that the weight is put a little in the background. The shoe has a really good ability to become one with your foot.

ISO FIT is the name of the material that forms the basis for most of the upper of the shoe..
It is a material that is quite soft and at the same time has a very good ability to fit well on even the most difficult feet. This means that the Saucony Freedom ISO is a shoe that fits (in terms of fit) very well on a wide range of feet.

Saucony Freedom ISO is in many ways a running shoe that I predict will have a really big future. The only thing I can think of right now that would be a killer for it not really making a big impression is the price. But only time will tell. And if it turns out to be too big a disadvantage, it will quickly be seen in the sales figures.

Everun from Saucony is their midsole that so many runners have received fantastically. Unique cushioning and an ability not to change, even with significant temperature changes. Always the same softness.

You buy Saucony Freedom ISO if you want a relatively low drop, and thereby get further forward on the mid- or forefoot and run.

You buy Saucony Freedom ISO if you are a huge fan of a lot of shock absorption and a feeling that your running shoes are a sock you put on your feet.

You DO NOT buy Saucony Freedom ISO if you don't want this absorbent and tight feeling on your feet.
