What you need to know about choosing a size
A question you may have asked yourself before is: “what size running shoes?”. It can be difficult to find the right size running shoes. This is mainly because different brands do not use the same terminology. You are probably familiar with the same problem with normal shoes – what size?
Generally, you should buy a half to one size larger than your normal shoes. If you normally wear a size 38 in shoes, you should use approximately a size 38½ or 39 in running shoes, but this varies from brand to brand.

CM, UK, US, EU – The different size measurements
In Denmark we use a mixture of different measures inrunning shoes (link to front page). Therefore, it is appropriate to have a size guide for running shoes that summarizes the different sizes across units of measurement.
US sizes are frequently used in Denmark, and it is often from US (or UK) that they are converted to EU sizes and CM.
Some brands use UK sizes to a large extent, which makes choosing a size even more complicated. However, whether you know your size in centimeters, UK, US or EU does not make a difference as long as you can convert the size measurements.
